Bing Webmaster API Breaking Change for SOAP Protocol Users

Bing last week updated it's webmaster API by introducing a new Breaking Change only for users of the Webmaster API that are using the SOAP protocol but not for Users of the Webmaster API using the JSON or POX/HTTP protocols. In other case they will recive an error message such like as...

If you are affected by this issue, you will receive the following error:Error code: UnknownError HResult: 0x80131501
The change was due to cause of SOAPAction header value and the namespace URI to make correction, that was previously erroneously set to http://tempuri.org/IWebmasterApi and now is required to be http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/Microsoft.Bing.Webmaster.Api/IWebmasterApi.

Bing obviously recommends to update the service reference of your application to fix the this issue. You can do this by right-clicking the service and clicking Update Service Reference.

Often SEO experts or site owners do more to increase the users usability of their product/real estate site switching more product specific pages to use more css and using tabs to see specific information about the product through different and unique pages like Product Description / Technical Details of working procedure / Larger Images / Related or similar products. Since doing so to seen a dramatic increase in what Google considers bounces... in that a one page view is what they consider a bounce.
     So when a potential customer done a search for and lands on the page all the information is there in css/javascript tabs. Great for the customer as they dont have to load more pages to get all the details. But what about Google's reaction for all these changes and the wondering thing is if Google is now counting all these one page views aka bounces negatively. Or you looking for more clicks for more page views and should you force customers to click tabs that load a new page for each portion of the product.As sites get more dynamic by using jquery and ajax to enhance the site vision for user interface, but the actual page views are going to be down considerably for those sites that choose advanced user interfaces and HTML5. Here the question is  would it will improve "bounce" rate, increase page views per visit and would it send Google "positive" signals about our site.
     Having all these well mannered and advance changes to our sites, after that the most important to be noted is SERPs behaviour and current Analytics changes like average time, Common sense would suggest that the average length of visit turn towards making a page's purpose clarification to be just as positive a signal for the algo as the number of page views.If some one using site tabs to get more involved and deeper in, result in more one-page visits, but those visits are longer, one would hope that the algo would consider that okay either way.
     But here a fact that is too much truth is for the purposes of search ranking of a page Google does not look at bounce rate as measured by Google Analytics. The search ranking factor Google is taking a look at "bounce back". That is, people's wish to have more search for you by using Google's search box or number of for how many people return to the SERPs to click on a different result or refine their search.  

     If you care about improving bounce rate to help user experience, I would suggest letting Google Analytics know when a user clicks on a tab by firing off some javascript to ping it. You can read the technical details about how to do so here

From the last 10 days of October 2012 it has commonly seen by almost all webmasters for a sudden drop down of author stats in Google webmaster tools some such like as..

Yesterday, my author stats in Googlw Webmaster tool showed between

5000 to 12000 impressions per day
320 to 600 clicks per day for October

Today, this stat changed to half

2500 to 3500 impressions per day
200 to 400 clicks 


Actually the "WMT" have been always outlandish and incomprehensible for always and for each one as They never counted a correct firgure for all of mine, not even close due to their frequent Changefulness. Because often you see in WMT they dropped them, then they brought them back. I read that they are going to drop them AGAIN, this time forever (next month?). Suits me fine, since they are nothing but a source of frustration. Or there might be force full Conspiracy against webmasters to spend their budgets for Google Adwords Paid advertisement program. But not sure if it's related or not, but I have seen an overall drop in reported impressions in the search queries report (about 50% or more for 70% as compared to a week ago). Traffic is the same, though. Initial analysis leads me to believe that image results are no longer being counted as impressions. Because They NEVER show my photo on ANY SERPS. Recognisable?  Maybe Google want a more Isolated photo, to have different Look for me than my previous. I am about to pull all my authorship. It is simply not worth fretting over, especially since Google refuses to TRY to get it right. Jumping through their hoops to no avail is not only frustrating, it is demeaning. "Well from the Initial analysis it has been counted that as a prediction to believe that image results are no longer being counted as impressions."

often during the analysis of search results (SERPs) a question is being raised in our minds why some websites url's performing on first pages which although having not good pr, content and quality back links, still they are in first page. There are lots of queries where some big brands url's are performing and usually experts found to be hard to answer that question.
    But by going into a deep analysis to catch the competitors in a big race for the sites performing on the first of Google search results a wise strategy come to seen a lot of big brands spend millions of dollars on paid advertisement (PPC campaigns and management) even on tv commercials this leads to people organically suffered into a brief discussion about them and linking to them. So like this they successfully have a large amount of back links. Also these big brand websites have a huge amount of type-in traffic, that leads to very attractive usage signals. When you add in the contests they often run which generates huge volumes of user generated content, reviews and the teams of editorial writers they often employ - they often have good content signals. Even if they are lacking in one ranking area their other ranking areas are often strong enough to compensate.
    Here's a question that I wants to discuss with you is...

"If a brand already occupies #1 for their core brand terms, why should we need to bid on PPC campaigns for brand terms also?" if you have any complement it's my pleasure if you share it with me in comment box.In my point of view there several things to do this..

1.The first one and most important is to get more real estate on the result page for which you are bidding. Obviously it will help to get more clicks for PPC and natural results when you have both an ad and a regular listing. Frankly, I don't know if that's true but if you have both, you double your chances of getting a click somehow. 

2.Gaining of more factual data for future to expand your marketing sense and experience from your campaigns, In case of having statical report for how many people did search for that term? PPC will tell you for sure. 

3.It will make it easy for you to test your different headlines and descriptions very easily and quickly. And again, having real data to fall on to improve your ads which could be used for SEO too. 

4.You can bid on keywords in PPC that you don't rank for in organics. 

Maybe others can come up with more but these would be the biggest ones that I can think of. Wheather
 If you have a term where a page already ranking high in the organics, it will also better to  run PPC on the term but use an automated rule to keep the ad lower on the page. If the search contains the actual brand name, CTR is strong and the CPC goes down to the point that it costs us very little to run ads on brand name searches.  

It is common to seen by analytics experts that both the ad and the organic listing get clicks, although it's not my experience that ads convert better. Sometimes yes, but sometimes no; it can go either way.

Ask yourself what are your priorities to achieve your goals and objectives, and write accordingly regardless of plural vs singular effects. Because If took a little glance at Google Webmaster tools and look at the "content keywords" list. Some items will seem absolutely correct and proper (rats >> rats, rat, rat's*) while others are useless (new >> new, news, or lives >> lives, lived, live, living, lively -- with "life" as an entirely separate word -- and similarly states >> states, state, stated, stately).

Using 302 Redirect TEMPORARY Signal to Keep Changes Same

Using Redirects obliviously you need technically reported to search operating systems (search engines) after bringing some changes usually forwarding the pages URLs from old to new as example.com/old as example.com/new and they five in number (301, 302, 303, 307, 308).
     Using 302 mean to tell search engines for a temporary change like to telling someone about you are going some where but you'll be back soon to previous.Here is some problem while using 302.

I am under the impression that when a 302 redirect is being carried out, Google is supposed to keep the original URL listed in its index (example.com/old), while crawling the content on the forwarded URL (example.com/new). However, if the forwarded URL is being blocked by robots.txt, then the original URL will be removed from Google's listings and replaced by nothing.

The problem concerns for carrying 302 redirect for forwarding example.com/old to example.com/new then the redirects from one domain example.com/old to another domain example.com/new that you are claiming for temporary change, that is, the web server on old url will come up to show the new changes but soon the changes will cancelled and web server start showing content on old again, but here Google started to remove the original destination URL from it's index results by first stripping the title tag and leaving this message as the meta-description "A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt.

     Suppose you carried 302 for as, example.com/old is being redirected to example.com/new, but new destination URL is being blocked in robots.txt. That means the old URL has been removed from Google and replaced by nothing or will the original URL/NEW continue to be listed as is by removing the old.

If you are sured about using 302 then it is truth that it has nothing to do with robots. /old will stay because a 302 is a TEMPORARY redirect so you're asking Google to keep the old URL in the serps. 

However, if the forwarded URL is being blocked by robots.txt, then the original URL will be removed from Google's listings and replaced by nothing. 

It might be possible that you disallow in robots.txt for the forwarded URL with a noindex and/or change the redirect type to one in javascript or perhaps the problem is due to 301.

Is content Syndication Cause of Duplicate Content & Spaming

You know well that things and also thinking have ever been changed than before and usually the behaviour of giant search engines is out understanding for each one. As at this people are worried about their sites down ranking and low organic search traffic for several issues that Google periodically pointed. So now the issues is wheat her syndicating your newly created contents and publishing them to all possible web resources with same title and materiel could be the cause of spamming search results.
     From previous experience of users SEO efforts and workings as we are working on a concept that involves content syndication and should this concept become a reality, that it too much better for site owners to update their sites 2 to 3 times per day with using all well worked SEO terms like competitive intelligence to conduct most impact able and highly demanding keywords with respect to search results but if it could cause duplicate content across a number of different sites without a "main site" to link up to, where the content would have originated, which is what is stipulated as being "ok" for syndicating content in the duplicate content guidelines and how they will rank better.  I realise showing results caused by duplicate content in a search is counterproductive for the person searching, but holding back information possibly important to certain users across different networks/ sites, just to avoid a poor ranking. According to experts opinions what they say about this ..
From Google's perspective, they only need 1 site in the index with the content.  Everything else is just spam.
From the user's perspective, a good user experience and the ability to find content on a popular site go hand in hand.

You need to balance the urge to develop sites to impress Google versus the urge to provide a good user experience.
     Perhaps search engines like Google want to get more but with different, I think it is too much better to express your Site's contents or products by having a lot of options for single and place them on others as different as placing them on your own site but with same meanings.

Reported by someone at Google Webmaster Forum Google getting penalised them for their EMD as a registered business and it is Trademarked. From a thread as an evidence by an other forum keep it in your mind that EMD algorithm had not designed for legitimate business to penalise.As an easy quickest and cheapest way is to change the EMD with proper redirect options to your business back on track.

Some one said on a forum discussion sites that were attacked by 1st Penguin and showing in an unhealthy range in Google Webmaster tools now have moved back to healthy range.That means the previously sending Penguin Penalties to webmasters or site owners have been Expired and Penguin hitted sites automatically come to a healthy range .

In WMT you can order websites by health, noticed this week that almost exactly 6 months after the April 24 penguin attack that sites of ours that were showing in the unhealthy range have moved back into the healthy range. Rankings for keywords affected have not returned to pre-penguin levels but they have improved some.  

I think site's health range doesn't matter with Penguin's working as penguin is purely algorithmic so it worth not right by saying that if a site hit by penguin will solely come to a healthy range in WMT after some time and penguin probably did not effect the health ranking in wmt. 404 Error Pages "Page Not Found" How to Remove Them

Actually 404 Error or "Page not found" is just an indication for a link such like as "The link is present in indexed data for server realisation but server is unable to understand currently what was requested or it might be possible that the current links didn't crawled by search engine crawlers."For example when some one search for a particular page in search results or directly put in borwser's Url bar and HTTP server code in response redirects the users for the status of the request As "Page Not Found." Critically concern for "How to remove them"
     In case of having a lot of 404 errors for a site, actually not it is but problem is the links to these 404 error pages as having a lot of 404 error pages redirects a bad sign for the quality of a site .You need to find out where these links are on your site and then figure out who (which script) is creating them. You have to literally found them for internal, external and specifically if they are your own, what pages link to 404s to figure out for fixing the problem. In case of having most of your own links, then you should correct them. If they're external links, and particularly if they link to content that has moved, you should redirect.Obviously after bringing any change like removing, moving or content transfirmation with links already showing in search results, you need to use a proper server redirect strategy to correctly directed both search engines and users to original url destination. But the links are they key - not the 404, but if they're not your links, then I wouldn't stress on it.So the links encountering 404 problem for removing or moving the contents on your site from one location an other, it will concern to have the imagination for search engines crawlers of content similarity or duplicate content placed on two different locations, that means you didn't use the proper redirects for the current change.

    Google rolled out EMD (exact match domain names) to teat with web pages who ranks well for having the same domain names as when Internet users type their search queries to search some and only the sites using the rich keywords in their Url name and title shows in search results.The sites that are found for about 5 to 6 years old usually understand it a great SEO technique to make sites more relevant for SERPs results.
    Recently the current issue is being dicussed by forum member as their website also under a Google Penalty for webmaster guidelines violation and they clarify it some like as..
    Our website, http://hairproductspro.com/  has been under a google penalty for some time now.  We had worked closely with an SEO firm for years to obtain highly ranked search terms related to our service and products.  We’ve always followed google guidelines.  However, on December 6, 2011 we had lost much of our high rankings.  Google had notified us that our website violates Google's quality guidelines.

    Well, even though "hairproductspro" may rather sound like a brand, or is of course intended to be one, it went straight into the trap of keyword anchor spam by having a third of it's backlinks anchor texts read "hair products pro" ... so, yes, this looks like a demotion due to a skewed backlink profile.

    It's that sites like yours are stressing it far too much on certain keywords. Of course this is also unfortunately especially true if you have chosen something we today call an Exact Match Domain (EMD - a domain name consisting of, or containing, the main keyword(s) the site is targeting) - without having managed to build a real brand out of it over time. I don't know if that's the case here - but strongly suspect it is.

    (A "skewed" backlink profile means you had to try to "unskew" it - get rid of, or/and disavow site-wide keyword anchor text links and try to get natural ones, that just link to your plain URL or use less competitive anchor texts in order to water down the, as I said, stress on your main keywords.)

    Intentionally when you dare to link with already down ranking and low quality sites including your mostly exact match anchor text to your brand name, obviously it will be taken search engines as your bad neighbourhood sites that seems to sometimes also work the other way around, meaning bad sites linking to yours potentially hurting a site's se-performance and could be an author issue to.
